From babies to the elderly, Zoe enjoys treating a broad spectrum of people, assisting them with manual therapy and education.

About Osteopathy and Me?

Osteopathy takes a holistic approach to the body, assisting it to heal itself by restoring optimum structure and function. Through a variety of hands on techniques such as soft tissue release and joint mobilisation, combined with education, osteopathy aims to improve mobility and reduce pain.

I grew up and studied in Melbourne, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (Clin. Sci) and a Masters of Health Science (Osteo) in 2000. Since then I have also studied a Post Graduate Certificate in Neonatal and Infant Manual Therapy in 2011, and Dry Needling.

I have Advanced Practice Recognition in Paediatrics and am a member of Osteopathy Australia, and a Board Member on the Osteopathy Board of Australia.

Children

Children are not just mini-adults, and osteopathy recognises this.

Osteopathy for children involves gentle techniques and may be used to address issues such as posture, rapid growth pain, mobility, and sporting injuries, supporting their natural growth and development.

Adults

Osteopathy may help adults of all ages with various conditions, including musculoskeletal pain, mobility challenges, postural strains and sprains.

Our hands on techniques may involve firmer soft tissue work, dry needling, manipulation or mobilisation depending on the individual patient.

Babies

Treatment of babies is incredibly gentle, and never involves manipulation or forceful techniques. I work with the baby and parents together, for the
best results.

I am always continuing to add to my knowledge of babies, birthing, feeding, primitive reflexes and gross motor development through ongoing education.
